#ME TOO: Is this enough

 I am a girl,

a women, a wife,

a sister, a lover and many more roles to play...

But not a chattel,

nor a product with which a man can play.....

#ME too campaign started in 2018 that spread over social media and become the burning topic of the year. Somebody joined it to gain publicity, somebody highlighted it as a sensitive topic and for somebody it is a hidden truth for a very long period that just found a platform where the voice can be raised and heard.

But can you think about those women who face this everyday and have no access to media at all. According to "THE MOBILE GENDER GAP REPORT 2022" less than 7% of women have access to mobile phones and less than 18% have access to internet.

In this condition, how can the more peculiar issues come on the public front and justice can be given to them.

A girl walking on a road, going to a school, a women travelling in public transport molested on a daily basis.. But are these cases reported daily and do they reach these platforms to raise their voice against the wrongdoing. Absolutely not....

The biggest reason I find out the so called common stigma- " LOG KYA KEHNGE".

Of course Log to Kehnge kyunki its their job. But what about your inner self who know this is wrong but still.....

Evenly the married women whose husbands touch them without their consent is never ever considered wrong. He is her husband but really do you feel that she likes your every action.

The need is to change the mindset of the people. Don't teach everything to a girl.....

"Aise utho, aise betho.... Zyada baat nhi karo...."

Teach your boys.... " Izzat pehle do aur frr lo..."

With this simple change a revolution can be happen and hope where this #ME too campaign is not able to reach from where the voice of equality can be heard.

Not a chattel, nor a product...

A partner, a wife, a girl, a women, sister, lover whom I love, I respect.....

  4. You are right, don't teach everything to a girl
But there are many things that boys should learn and society should teach them.

  5. Behavior towards women won't change until we start dinning into our children head right from their birth that women are their own not public property
